College of the North Atlantic-Burin is Newfoundland and Labrador’s (NL) public college – one of the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada, with a history dating back 50 years. Today, College of the North Atlantic has 17 campus locations, which include facilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador; thousands of students studying our curriculum at various partner universities in China; and, a technical education college for the State of Qatar in the Middle East.
In College of the North Atlantic-Burin, we have over 100 full-time program offerings for approximately 9,000 students each year. Burin campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the east coast of Newfoundland on Placentia Bay. The historic town of Burin has approximately 2,500 residents. Burin campus’ goal is to not only produce graduates who are highly competent, knowledgeable, and ultimately successful in their chosen field, but also to produce graduates who have found, happy, and lasting memories of their educational experience.
